Product introduction:
LW36-72.5 self-energy outdoor HV AC sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is an outdoor three-phase porcelain column electrical equipment mainly used in AC 50Hz or 60Hz, 72.5kV electricity systems in extremely cold regions (for electric stations in general regions and -42'℃ extremely cold regions). This product can be operated frequently and used as a connection circuit breaker.
Main characteristic:
High performance -strong rated circulating ability: strong short circuit breaking ability up to 5500A. 50kA.
Long service life -electrical endurance: 50kAx21times; mechanical life: 10000 times.
Reliable breaking performance.
Reliable sealing performance; Annual leakage of SF6 gas ≤0.5%.
Meeting the requirements of hard running environments -suitable for Class IV polluted environments.
Multi-structure forms-usually porcelain column type and handcart type.

How to choose the right type of circuit breaker?
System Voltage: Determine the working voltage of the system and select a circuit breaker that can withstand the voltage level. High-voltage and ultra-high-voltage systems typically use SF6 gas or oil-immersed circuit breakers.
System Current: Consider the maximum continuous current and short-circuit current of the system, and select a circuit breaker with sufficient rated current and short-circuit capacity.
Outdoor Environment: If the circuit breaker will be installed outdoors, consider its performance in resisting pollution, moisture, and windblown sand. Tank-type circuit breakers (such as those using SF6 gas or oil) are generally more suitable for outdoor environments.
Indoor Environment: For indoor installations, circuit breakers that are smaller in size and easier to maintain can be chosen, such as vacuum circuit breakers.
SF6 Gas: Offers excellent insulating and arc-quenching performance, making it suitable for high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage systems. However, environmental concerns and leakage issues need to be addressed.
Insulating Oil: Provides good insulating and heat dissipation properties, but poses fire risks and environmental pollution issues. It is suitable for applications where fire prevention requirements are not stringent.
Vacuum: Suitable for medium and low-voltage systems, offering long life, high reliability, and ease of maintenance.
