What is the maximum PV input power?
Maximum PV Input Power refers to the maximum photovoltaic (abbreviated as PV) input power that an inverter can accept. This parameter defines the upper limit when the inverter receives direct current from solar photovoltaic panels, ensuring that the inverter will not be damaged or unable to work normally due to excessive input power.
Example Illustration:
Suppose the maximum PV input power of an inverter is 5,200W. Then theoretically, the total output power of the photovoltaic array with it should not exceed 5,200W. However, in actual design, a combination of photovoltaic panels with a total power of 4,800W to 5,000W might be chosen to ensure that the system will not exceed the tolerance range of the inverter even under extreme weather conditions (such as when the sunlight is particularly intense).
