Description:
The RCW series automatic circuit reclosers can use on overhead distribution lines as well as distribution substation applications for allvoltage classes 11kV up to 38kV at 50/60Hz power system. and it’s rated current can reach 1250A.The RCW series automatic circuit reclosers integrates the functions of control, protection, measurement, communication, fault detection, on-line monitoring of closing or opening.The RCW series vacuum recloser is mainly combined with integration terminal, current transformer, permanent magnetic actuator and it’s recloser controller.

What are the scenarios in which the 38kV outdoor vacuum recloser is used?
38kV Overhead Transmission Lines: Widely used in branch lines and end lines of 38kV overhead transmission lines as control and protection devices. When a fault occurs in the line, the recloser can quickly interrupt the fault current and automatically perform reclosing operations, reducing downtime and improving power supply reliability.
38kV Substation Outgoing Lines: Installed on the outgoing side of 38kV substations to control and protect the electrical connections between the substation and the transmission lines. When a fault occurs in the substation outgoing lines, the recloser can promptly isolate the fault, ensuring the safe operation of the substation, and quickly restore power supply through the reclosing function.
38kV Distribution Network Automation System: As one of the key devices in the distribution network automation system, the recloser works in conjunction with other intelligent devices to achieve remote monitoring, control, and fault location functions for the distribution network. By communicating with feeder terminal units (FTUs) and distribution automation master stations, the recloser receives control commands and uploads operational status information, enhancing the automation level and operational management efficiency of the distribution network.
