Product Detail

Product Overview

JSZV16-12R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor for measuring current, electric energy and protective relaying in single-phase or three-phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipement 12kV.

The product has the feature of high reliability, low magnetism of core, large creepage distance of external insulation and maintenance free etc.

Key Features

  • Precise Adaptation to 12kV Rated Voltage:Specifically designed for 12kV medium-voltage power grids, it features a voltage ratio error ≤0.2% and phase difference ≤10', meeting the 0.2-class metering accuracy requirement. It provides reliable voltage signals for relay protection and energy metering devices, ensuring the accuracy of grid monitoring data.
  • Built-in Fuse for Overvoltage Protection:Integrates a high-voltage current-limiting fuse that quickly cuts off the circuit within 0.1 seconds during system overvoltage (e.g., lightning strikes, switching overvoltage), preventing damage to the voltage transformer and downstream equipment. Certified to IEC 60282-1 explosion-proof standards, it ensures operational safety.
  • Epoxy Resin Fully Enclosed Casting Structure:Adopts a vacuum epoxy resin casting process to form a fully sealed insulation system with an IP65 protection rating, effectively resisting dust, moisture, and salt fog. Suitable for humid coastal and dusty industrial environments, its maintenance-free design reduces O&M costs.
  • Stable Operation in Wide Temperature Range:Operates within -40℃~+70℃, using high/low-temperature resistant insulation materials to maintain stable electrical performance in extreme climates, avoiding insulation aging caused by temperature fluctuations and extending service life to over 30 years.
  • Anti-fouling Flashover & High Insulation Design:With external insulation creepage distance ≥31mm/kV, equipped with anti-fouling flashover skirts and hydrophobic coatings, suitable for Class Ⅲ pollution areas. Partial discharge ≤5pC, passing 12kV/42kV/75kV power frequency/impulse withstand voltage tests to ensure insulation reliability.

Main technical parameter

  • Highest voltage for equipment: 12kV
  • Rated primary voltage: 11kV
  • Rated secondary voltage: 100/220V or 110/220V or 100V or 110V.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

What are the polarity test methods for GIS current transformers?
I’m Oliver, an 8 - year current transformer testing pro. Today, let’s break down new and old polarity test methods for GIS current transformers—how they work and their pros/cons.1.Testing Methods1.1New MethodPre - test ops: Open FDS21/FDS22 fast disconnectors + DS23 disconnector. Close CB21 breaker, then ES21/ES22 grounding disconnectors. Disconnect ES21’s SF6 - shell ground.Wiring: Connect battery between ES21’s moving contact (negative grounded) + ground electrode

I'm Oliver, with 8 years of experience in current transformer testing. These are all practical experiences, shared with you1 Maintenance of Current TransformersHaving been in the business of current transformer testing for 8 years, I know a thing or two about their maintenance! The maintenance of current transformers is divided into minor repairs, intermediate repairs, and major overhauls.Minor repairs mainly involve opening the cover (if necessary) and changing the oil, usually carried out once

What are the possible causes of cracking failure in CT terminal blocks within GIS equipment?
What are the possible causes of cracking failure in CT terminal blocks within GIS equipment?
Gas - insulated switchgear (GIS) , often called “SF6 combined electrical apparatus”, is widely used in power systems for its high reliability, small footprint, low noise, and low loss. It encloses high - voltage devices like circuit breakers, fast grounding switches, current transformers, and busbars in a grounded metal shell filled withSF6gas. Each device sits in a separate gas chamber with different pressures. The CT terminal block divides gas chambers, connects components, and eas

Development of an Outdoor Integrated Low - Voltage Current Transformer
Development of an Outdoor Integrated Low - Voltage Current Transformer
In power grid construction, line losses reflect planning, design, and operation management. They’re key for evaluating power systems. For refined low - voltage transformer area line loss management, accurate line loss counting is critical. So, solidifying basic data, ensuring data accuracy, and proper original data collection matter for analysis. We must also optimize factors affecting collection accuracy, make preventive measures, and boost refined line loss management.1 Current Status of
