Product Detail

Product Overview

JDZV8-12R voltage transformer, epoxy resin casting and full enclosed construction, is used indoor for measuring current, electric energy and protective relaying in single-phase or three-phase AC circuit with the frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and highest voltage for equipment 12kV.

The product has the feature of high reliability, low magnetism of core, large creep distance of external insulation and maintenance free etc.

Key Features

  • Compact and Lightweight Design:With a highly compact structure, its volume is reduced by 40% and weight by 50% compared to similar products. This enables easy installation in space-constrained scenarios like switchgear and ring main units, saving both equipment layout space and installation costs.
  • High Insulation Strength and Safety:The epoxy resin insulation system withstands 12kV rated voltage and 75kV lightning impulse voltage, with partial discharge ≤10pC. It effectively prevents phase-to-phase short circuits and ground breakdown. The built-in overvoltage protection fuse quickly cuts off the circuit during faults, ensuring system safety.
  • Wide Temperature Range Adaptability:Operating within -40℃ to +70℃, it suits extremely cold or high-temperature regions. The epoxy resin material features excellent thermal stability, eliminating long-term aging or cracking risks, with a service life exceeding 30 years.

Main technical parameter

  • Highest voltage for equipment: 12kV
  • Rated primary voltage: 11kV
  • Rated secondary voltage: 100/220V or 110/220V or 100V or 110V.
  • Technical standard accords with IEC 60044-2:2003 Part2 Instrument transformers-Part2: inductive voltage transformers

Remarks: Upon request we are glad to offer transformers according to other standards or with non-standard technical specs.

What are the troubleshooting methods for current transformers?
What are the troubleshooting methods for current transformers?
As a front - line fault maintenance worker, I deal with current transformers (CTs) daily. A CT’s secondary winding in operation must never open - circuit! Once open - circuited, the secondary current and demagnetizing potential vanish. All primary - side magnetic potential then becomes the iron core’s exciting potential, sharply increasing its magnetic flux density. High voltage on the secondary side will endanger safety anytime.Despite strict power operation regulations, user electr

What are the causes of current transformer faults and the countermeasures for faults?
What are the causes of current transformer faults and the countermeasures for faults?
As a front - line maintenance technician, I deal with current transformers (CTs) daily. CTs convert high - magnitude primary current to low - magnitude secondary current for substation/line protection and measurement, operating in series long - term. However, they face faults from external (unbalanced loads, wrong wiring, etc.) and internal (insulation defects) issues. These faults, like secondary open - circuits or insulation breakdown, harm measurement accuracy, protection operation, and grid

Testing of Optical Current Transformers (OCT)
With the development of modern economy and science and technology, photoelectric current transformers (PECTs) have fully transitioned from the trial operation stage to practical application. As a front - line testing personnel, I deeply feel their importance in the power system during daily work. I also realize the necessity of conducting in - depth research on their testing systems and calibration methods. This not only promotes the engineering application of PECTs but also enables the accurate
